So tell us a little bit about yourself?

- We’re Conversions, a 4-man band out of San Jose, California and the music scene isn’t too strong around here but we put a lot of effort into our music and we’re trying to accomplish success through everything we do as a band so we can achieve a career through what we love doing.

What inspired you to start singing?

- We all have our own idea of who influences us but in music, I think it’s life’s situations and emotions that is the inspiring factor to our music.

Were there any hard challenges you had to face in the industry?

- Not quite yet, we’re still a fairly new band but we have somewhat of an idea of how hard it is to “make it big” but it doesn’t discourage us.

What ways have you found was the best way to promote yourself?

- So far it’s been Facebook and flyers we make ourselves that we post around our neighborhood. We released our debut album entitled “Equinox” for FREE. We believe that releasing an album for free breaks down the barriers of price and excuse. Especially because we’re an indie band, we don’t have time to try and sell our songs like the other bands out there; We want as many people to hear our music as possible. What would be your most memorable moment while singing?

- We haven’t played too many shows yet but our very first show was great. We headlined the show, packed the place out, we had people jumping around, and they even cheered us on for an encore song!

Are there any goals that you would like to achieve?

- If there were any goals that we’ve set as a band, it is to make a living off of writing and performing our music. We also have a goal of getting known outside of San Jose, then outside of California, then getting known on a worldwide scale (hopefully).

What can we expect from you in the future?

- Expect shows. I would say not to make expectations of our upcoming songs since every song has its own style to it. The fact that we have so many different elements to our overall sound is what makes us different.

Are there any upcoming albums you are releasing?

- We actually just finished our 11 track debut album and we have it up for FREE download on our Facebook page. You can download it at our Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/conversionsband

What do you think of FKN Famous?

- It’s like a “magazine Google”, it’s consisted of a bunch of things people are talking about whether its music, pop culture, or technology.
