So tell us a little bit about yourself?

- “My name is Lerix. I’m a hip-hop artist out of Brooklyn, NYC and a giant kid at heart! (haha)”

What inspired you to start rapping?

- “One of my older cousins hosted an underground hip-hop radio show in New York. He introduced me to all types of hip-hop music. From there It sparked my interest in writing my own verses and songs. Once I got started I never stopped.”

Were there any hard challenges you had to face in the industry?

- “I would say the hardest challenge was being open about my life to new people. I’m a pretty private person so it was tough to share details about myself with my fans. Over time I was able to get over it, I’m pretty much an open book now. (haha)”

What ways have you found was the best way to promote yourself?

- “I try to make a personal connection with people first. Once they care about who you are as a person, it’s easier for get them to care about who you are as an artist.”

What would be your most memorable moment while rapping?

- “Hands down it would be performing at the Brooklyn hip-hop festival. It’s always been a childhood dream to perform there.”

Are there any goals that you would like to achieve?

- “Right now, my goal is to continue to grow my fan base. I have fans in many different places so I would love to see that grow larger.”

What can we expect from you in the future?

- “More music, more videos and more shows. I can’t stop moving!”

Are there any upcoming albums you are releasing?

- “I’m releasing an E.P. titled ‘Audio Arcade’ in early summer. I’ve also started work on a mid-summer project too. It’s going to be a great summer of music.”
