This has to be one of the most awesome builds around. I am pretty sure you all caught it at first when it was Metropolis I. Now here is the latest “Metropolis II”. Feel free to share you inputs.

Artist Chris Burden takes the iconic Hot Wheel and creates a kinetic art installation masterpiece entitled “Metropolis II”. In this behind the scenes doc, the artists sits down to explain the inspiration behind the project. The work is as amazing to look at as it is in action, the toys create a stop and go motion, as if were actual traffic. Burden spent 4 years completing the project, which intricately displays 1500 Hot Wheels and various electric trains. Metropolis II will be unveiled to the general public this Fall at the Los Angeles Country Museum Of Art. via – hypebeast
