So tell us a little bit about yourself?

– I started writing, recording and mixing when I was 14, makin’ beats at 15. I graduated from the Institute Of Audio Research in NYC with a certificate in audio engineering & I’ve worked at Jambox & Fight Klub Studios. I’ve made five albums and a mixtape since 2004. I started building up my Internet buzz in 2010 when I hit over 12,000 downloads on The Jack Johnson Sessions.I dropped Prep Time in April 2011 on iTunes [as well as] for free download.

What inspired you to start singing/rapping?

– I grew up around music. My dad & his twin brother played guitar. My uncles played the congas & hand drums. Everybody else would play something easy like a woodblock, guiro or a tambourine. Everybody usually sang. I started making music at 14 though, so every time I wrote a song, made a beat or put out a record, it motivated me even more to pursue music.

Were there any hard challenges you had to face in the industry?

– Definitely. I used to make beats for this artist out of Brooklyn & things could have gone pretty far. We had a couple of singles spun by Dj Kayslay & Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97. I never took initiative by going to the studio sessions, meetings etc & the artist ended up doing an interview and not giving me credit at all. This wasn’t a defining moment, but it was a situation where I should have taken advantage more. I also used to work at Fight Klub Studios in NY & I feel like I missed out on a lot of good opportunities. Everything from issues with A&R’s, low sales to empty shows I’ve been through it.

What ways have you found was the best way to promote yourself?

– Going out to events locally. Doing Shows. Social Networking. Making good music. Paying for ad spots. Reaching out to blogs.

What would be your most memorable moment while singing?

– Winning a produced track from Grammy Award winning production team J.U.S.T.I.C.E League. Hearing KaySlay & Flex introduce my beats/song. Getting hired at Fight Klub Studios. Recording with Maino & Charles Hamilton. The viral success of my last 2 albums. The Last time I performed.

Are there any goals that you would like to achieve?

– I would like to win a Grammy, Tour the world & make music with a few artists out there.

What can we expect from you in the future?

– More music, shows & videos.

Are there any upcoming albums you are releasing?

– The Coldplay Sessions – December 2011

What do you think of FKN Famous?

– I think its fkn dope. Especially the models section. I like how you all have a hand in everything & how the layout is so classy.

Any last shout outs?

– One last shout out to Ms.Lauryn Hill
