So tell us about your company & product?

- KLxTL, abbreviated for KidzLivingxTheLife is a brand, that strives in providing its clients with bold high-quality products, that are definitely eye catchers. The brand was established in late 2010, early 2011, and it pretty much started as a t-shirt brand, with tees that featured “in-your-face” messages. After the success of KLxTL’s first t-shirt collection, I decided to incorporate accessories and jewelry into the brand. The brand provides various accessories as well as jewelry for the starving fashionista. Our products have been worn by talented music artists, such as M.I.A. prodigy, Rye Rye, Malaysia’s very own ZE!, Hyper Crush, “I Like That” hit singer Luciana, & many others.

How did you come up with the name?

- As the founder, I basically wanted a name that was unique; at the time of starting my brand I was 19 and living life to the fullest, I wanted to create a brand that reflected my crazy fun lifestyle and create things that I would most definitely admire. I wanted a name that wasn’t generalized all over google, so when I decided to call my brand KidzLivingxThelife, I decided to abbreviate the name to KLxTL, to give it more exclusion.

What best describes your product & who is it targeted to?

- My products are a creation of my own likes for edgy fashion. Some of my items are pretty much incomparable to others out there, and are targeted to anyone with the same likes in fashion.

What influenced you to start up this company?

- After graduating high school, I held a few jobs where I literally worked for 2 weeks at the most. They just weren’t for me, so I quit. I was always passionate about fashion as well as being raised in a crafty family, so I realized that I had the potential to take forth on such business venture & the experience has been awesome.

How are your products different from others out there?

- Its hard to find a ring with spikes out there, as well as a cell phone case. I mean, the stuff sounds unimaginable, but KLxTL makes it happen. As a company, we strive for high quality products, that are hand crafted with attention to detail & lots of love

Are there any challenges you run into while running a business?

- Most definitely, I feel that as a young entrepreneur its difficult to focus on just one thing because there are so many things going on, in one’s life, at this time. So sometimes it is difficult to manage time, but with such a great team behind KLxTL, things get done. I have been fortunate to make KLxTL my full time job, and its been awesome.
