What inspired you to start singing?
- I was always a dancer growing up, my mom threw me into my first ballet class at age 3, and that’s where I developed a love for performing. I started singing a lot around the house along with the Mariah Carey or Toni Braxton CD my mom had on, but it wasn’t until after my first real choir audition that I decided “this is it”. During the audition I couldn’t even face my choir director (who later became my voice coach for about ten years) so I faced the wall, AND I was too scared to sing the song that I had prepared so I sang “Happy Birthday” instead. REALLY?! I was so disappointed in myself for not doing my best and giving my all that I left feeling empty and unfulfilled. Even as a 7-year-old I knew I never wanted to feel that way again, so on that day I decide to commit to music and always show up being 100% Olivia.
Were there any hard challenges you had to face in the industry?
- Almost everything about this industry is challenging, but the biggest challenge is to stay true and authentic. Lots of girls can sleep their way to the top or buy their way to the top, but to be able to SING my way to the top is the most soul-fulfilling feeling. Also, I’m a pretty competitive person, so I love me a good challenge!

What ways have you found was the best way to promote yourself?
- Singing, talking about singing, talking to other people who like to talk about singing, and constantly reminding myself that I can always be working harder or doing more to build my career.
What would be your most memorable moment while singing?
- I got to sing back-up for Will.I.Am, Faith Hill, Seal, Mary J. Blige, and Sheryl Crowe at the Inauguration of President Barrack Obama in 2008. The next moment that will stay with me like that will be singing my first major record deal, and after that will be winning my first Grammy.
Are there any goals that you would like to achieve?
- To always inspire and stay inspired.
What can we expect from you in the future?
- Hopefully, its always a little bit more and a little bit better than whatever I gave you before. I believe in progression.
Are there any upcoming albums you are releasing?
- I should be releasing a few singles here pretty soon and eventually an album! But as of right now I just have free download links to all my covers via my YouTube page!

What do you think of FKN Famous?
- This site/Label seems like an incredible way to promote yourself as an artist or individual and also seems to have really GREAT taste in music.
Any last shout outs?
- Shout out to the dreamers, the believers, and all my supporters! Also, I can’t begin to express my gratitude for my sponsor Rebel Mindz Clothing ( www.facebook.com/rebelxmindz ) who supported me before I had anything to show for myself and teaching me how to put some SWAG in my style!
