Tell us a little bit about yourself.

– Music has always been my backbone for support growing up. Coming from a family that had an ear for a variety of music, as a child I loved to dance. It never really dawned on me that my passion for dancing to these CLASSIC HITS came from listening to mainly the MUSIC and not so much the lyrics.

What inspired you to start Producing?

– I can honestly say my family inspired me. Having a mother that was in band, a father that engineered the sound of local parties, and a brother that played the flute as well as trombone, I was the only one left unable to play or read music. Due to technology and I believe a commercial, I caught wind of a DAW operating system called FL Studio, better known as Fruity Loops. I finally found my niche so to speak.

Who are some of the artist you’ve worked with?

– I’ve had the opportunity to work with a lot of up and coming artist around the IE, some which have continued to pursue music as their careers, others who have chosen other paths in fields such as photography, fashion, etc. To name a few: Raden of RozMusic, Cadence, Sean Brown, Charlie Bee, B Dawt Roxx, Yours Truly. You may have heard of a few, you may have not, but the reasoning behind a few of my collaboration is progressing as an Artist.

Were there any hard challenges you had to face in the industry?

– I believe the industry itself is a challenge due to the intertwining of Technology, fashion, trends, and marketing. Playing the role I play as a producer, you come across many artists who want to be in the spotlight, but don’t understand the self-investment that is required to get there. You can’t make it to the top or wherever you want to be in life doing everything free.

What ways have you found was the best way to promote yourself?

– The typical walking up to people and presenting them your music is becoming a lost art form/opportunity. In an age where you can capture an entire song and send it to someone via email, the INTERNET is the main way to go. You have to get out there and NETWORK, and never loose focus of that, even though it’s hard when you are involved in SOCIAL NETWORKING sites, people tend to forget. You can’t get stuck just promoting on FB where only you “friends” listen to your music. My main arsenal of sites used for promoting are: Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Soundcloud, Soundclick, MySpace (if you still have one.lol).

Is there any advice you can give to up & coming producers?

– If you are serious about producing, don’t be afraid to FAIL. Don’t be afraid to READ to enhance your knowledge about your passion. You are going to run into people that aren’t as serious as you, don’t let it discourage you or distract you, take it as a learning experience. Surround yourself with people that have opinionated ideas, not conflicting ones.

What is one of your biggest goals in life?

– To get to a point where I’m financially stable AND content with my work. My level of accomplishment can never be measure by myself for the fact that I always have the concept of there’s always something you can do to better yourself as an Artist, as a Person.

Is there anything we can expect from you in the future?

– Expect everything, and I literally mean everything. Expect me to progress in my career, expect me to have set backs, expect me to have off and on days. Because all of these things I’m saying, I expect the same from fans. I know everyone is not going to be able to relate to every project I complete, but the goal isn’t to relate, it’s to Respect.

How did you hear about FKN Famous and what do you think of it?

– All the credit goes to my fellow friend/videographer Isaiah Atienza aka Z. Never seems to amaze me what NEW events he’s becoming engaged in and I believe he hit it right on the money with FKN Famous. As far as what I think of FKN Famous, pure genius. What the team members have done as far as developing a company that represents their BRAND to the fullest, is nothing short of amazing. Then to top it off, you guys just don’t limit your fans to being fans, you provide that stepping stone for them to pursue their dreams and gain more exposure.

Any last shout outs to your supporters and future fans?

– I love everyone that has TAKEN a chance to GIVE a chance. Time is precious, so anytime that is given to listen to my music I am forever grateful. As far as my new fans, embrace the Art of Sound and follow me on my Journey as I follow your Taste for music, and Hearts for comfort.
