Edifier Tick Tock Dock Review

A few days ago we received a awesome package from a company called Edifier. We was first introduced to Edifier by our good friends over at Max Borges. Edifier was very kind enough to send us over one of their latest products to get a closer look at and conduct this review. With that being said we would personally like to thank Edifier and Max Borges for giving us the opportunity to check out the product first hand and conduct this review.

Giving us the opportunity to deliver this in-depth product review! We hope that you enjoy it. The package was great, now let’s start the review shall we!

Product Review :

- Packaging : Let’s kick things off with the packaging. So Edifier sent us the package via UPS. UPS has always been a great and affordable way of shipping. UPS also provides a fast and efficient service making sure your package gets where it needs to be on time. Inside the box we were greeted by the Edifier Tick Tock Dock. The Edifier Tick Tock Dock was in a custom packaging which displayed the product very well. The packaging also displayed some useful information about the product. Overall Edifier did a awesome job on the packaging and presentation of the product.

- Extras : There wasn’t really any extras included with the Edifier Tick Tock Dock such as business cards, fliers, brochures and etc. Which is perfectly fine, maybe in the future they will look into including something. Aside from that inside the actual packaging of the Edifier Tick Tock Dock there was a few extra goodies included such as a 3.5-millimeter auxiliary cable, universal power supply, and instruction manual.

- Design : The design of the Edifier Tick Tock Dock is pretty unique. It looks exactly like a old school alarm clock from the 1960s. The Edifier Tick Tock Dock alarm clock features a pivoting dock that lets you plug in, charge, and play music directly from your iPod or iPhone. When you’re ready to dock your iPod or iPhone, simply pivot the dock to the front of the clock and play the songs of your choice. To use the clock or listen to the FM radio, just move the dock out of the way and hide it. A rear input allows you to connect an MP3 player or MP3-enabled cellular phone. Equipped with a large, bright, round LCD display, the Tick Tock Dock shows the time, date, and alarm setting. Control buttons conveniently located on top of the clock make it easy to adjust the volume, set and shut off the alarm, switch FM stations, select music tracks, and navigate your iPod or iPhone. You can preset up to 24 radio stations. The alarm can be set to play an alarm tone or music from the radio, your docked iPod or iPhone, or another device connected to the 3.5-millimeter auxiliary jack. In addition, the clock offers up to five alarms and sleep functions that let you wake up or fall asleep to your favorite tunes. Great job on the awesome design of the Tick Tock Dock Edifier.

- Quality : The overall quality of the Edifier Tick Tock Dock is superb. The sound quality is very crisp and loud as if you were playing it on a normal car stereo. It’s very user friendly. The Edifier Tick Tock Dock is pretty lightweight and easy to move around. The Edifier Tick Tock Dock would be a great product for your home or office. The LCD display is very crisp and easy to read which a good thing is. The staffing over at Edifier was very friendly and helpful with introducing us to this product. With that being said, FKN Famous would highly recommend the Edifier Tick Tock Dock to anyone that is looking for a new alarm clock. The Edifier Tick Tock Dock is definitely the one to get. I can’t wait to see what Edifier will come out with next! This is definitely a company you should look into in the future.

- Pricing : Last but definitely not least we like to end things with the overall pricing for this product. So you can purchase the Tick Tock Dock on the Edifier web store for about $79.99. This is a standard and affordable price for this unique device. The Tick Tock Dock is also available in about 3 different colors such as white, black and beige.
