IK Multimedia iKlip Review

Now here is a great product for people in the music industry. We received a great package from a company called IK Multimedia. We was first introduced to this company during the week of Macworld/iWorld. IK Multimedia was very kind enough to send us 2 of their latest products to get a closer look at and review. With that being said, huge thanks to IK Multimedia for giving us the opportunity to check out the product and conduct this review!

So let’s kick things off with a little more info about “IK Multimedia”. “IK Multimedia Production is an international music software company directly operating in 4 countries (Italy, US, UK, and Japan), privately founded in 1996 for the purpose of developing a new generation of music software designed to take advantage of the fast growing personal computer performance and revolutionize the way people compose and play music.” Now before we start the review, I would personally like to thank the staff over at “IK Multimedia” for sending us over this package. Giving us the opportunity to deliver this in-depth product review! We hope that you enjoy it. The package was great, now let’s start the review shall we!

Product Review :

- Packaging : Let’s start off with the packaging. So IK Multimedia sent us the package via FedEx. FedEx is a great way of shipping. They are very fast and efficient, as well as on time! Inside the box we were greeted by the IK Multimedia products. There was two inside the box, and we will be starting off with the iKlip! The packaging on the iKlip was very simple and clean. It displayed the product very well and had some great information on the product. Overall IK Multimedia did a outstanding job on the packaging and presentation of this product!

- Extras : There wasn’t really any extras included such as business cards, fliers, or etc. Which is perfectly fine, maybe in the future they will look into it. Aside from that inside included was a installation guide which came in very handy on how to use the product.

- Design : The iKlip is a very useful and handy item to have for anyone in the music industry. It’s a very unique product to have. The iKlip also has a lot of great features such as sturdy, durable thermoplastic construction with sure-grip touch point securely holds your iPad and iPad 2 without scratching or marring it. Universal stand clip securely attaches to virtually any microphone stand. Multi-angle adjustment allows precise positioning for optimal stage or studio viewing. Quick-snap clips provide fast, secure iPad insertion. Fast installation iKlip installs on your mic stand in seconds with the twist of a knob. All controls, buttons and connectors are accessible when your iPad is clipped into iKlip. Multi-mount design provides both horizontal and vertical orientation of your iPad. Can be mounted on the vertical part of a mic stand, or on a horizontal boom for limitless positioning. Designed and manufactured in Italy. IK Multimedia definitely did a great job with this product overall!

- Quality : The overall quality of this product is pretty solid. I was really impressed with everything. This product came in very handy when during one of our Karaoke sessions. The quality if of the product is very durable, and it’s extremely easy to setup. The staff at IK Multimedia was very friendly and helpful with all the information on this product. FKN Famous would highly recommend anyone in the music industry to pick up an iKlip, this is definitely a product you should have. Can’t wait to see what IK Multimedia will come out with next!

- Pricing : Last but definitely not least we like to end things with the overall pricing for the iKlip. You can purchase a iKlip on the IK Multimedia website for about $39.99.
