IK Multimedia iRig Mic Review

We’ve got another awesome product from IK Multimedia. We kindly introduce you to the iRig Mic. IK Multimedia was very kind enough to send this to us to get a closer look at and conduct this review. With that being said, huge thanks to IK Multimedia for giving us the opportunity to check out the product and conduct this review!

So let’s kick things off with a little more info about “IK Multimedia”. “IK Multimedia Production is an international music software company directly operating in 4 countries (Italy, US, UK, and Japan), privately founded in 1996 for the purpose of developing a new generation of music software designed to take advantage of the fast growing personal computer performance and revolutionize the way people compose and play music.” Now before we start the review, I would personally like to thank the staff over at “IK Multimedia” for sending us over this package. Giving us the opportunity to deliver this in-depth product review! We hope that you enjoy it. The package was great, now let’s start the review shall we!

Product Review :

- Packaging : Let’s start off with the packaging. So IK Multimedia sent us the package via FedEx. FedEx is a great way of shipping. They are very fast and efficient, as well as on time! Inside the box we were greeted by the IK Multimedia products. There was two inside the box. Here is the packaging on the iRig Mic! The packaging on the iRig Mic was very simple and clean. It displayed the product very well and had some great information on the product. Overall IK Multimedia did a outstanding job on the packaging and presentation of this product!

- Extras : There wasn’t really any extras included such as business cards, fliers, or etc. Which is perfectly fine, maybe in the future they will look into it. Aside from that included in the actual product packaging was a carrying pouch for the iRig Mic, a mic stand, as well as some instruction on how to use the product.

- Design : I really like the design IK Multimedia did with the iRig Mic. This is definitely a unique product to have. Some of the cool features of the iRig Mic are is that it’s an ideal product for all vocal applications from singing to speech. Great for all types of sound recording or processing in music or any other audio application. Quality condenser-electret unidirectional capsule. Dual mini-jack connector allows real-time monitoring on headphones, speakers, mixers, PAs. Rugged, durable metal housing. Easy to set-up for any sound source. Can be handheld or placed on a standard mic stand. Comes with apps for singers and songwriters. Can be used with a wide variety of other apps. We will get into the apps a little later.

- Quality : The overall quality of the iRig Mic is pretty legit! This is a product we will be using at a few events, so be on the lookout for it! But getting back on track, this product is really solid, I definitely love what IK Multimedia has come up with. It’s a very unique and one of a kind product to have. It’s extremely durable and very easy to use. With that being said, FKN Famous would highly recommend anyone getting iRig Mic. This is definitely a product you should have. Can’t wait to see what else IK Multimedia will have in store.

- Pricing : Last but not least we like to end things with the overall pricing for this product. So you can pick up a iRig Mic on the IK Multimedia website for about $59.99. Which is a pretty affordable price for this unique product? It also comes with free apps that you can download on your iPhone so that you can use it with the device. So you are definitely getting your money’s worth with this product.
