Japan born illustrator Hiroshi Tanabe is the latest guest artist to collaborate with Stussy. Tanabe originally practiced as a graphic designer, yet he slowly moved into the illustration field to freely express his distinct style. Influenced by the traditional Japanese woodcut art, each line is drawn precisely in a gentle manner and his illustrations have a fantasy feel that are popular amongst major fashion brands and print publications. Four original illustrations were created for this collection and it is utilized on the Swing T-Shirts, Swig Tanks, Ballet T-Shirts, and Tote Bags.
