Product Review :

- Packaging : Landing at our doorstep via FedEx was a package from our good friends over at IK Multimedia. Inside the package we were greeted by numerous products from IK Multimedia. A few days ago we introduced you to the iRig Mix, today we’ve got the iRig Mic Cast Everything in the package was neatly packed and secured, arriving into our hands safely. The product packaging was very straight forward. It displayed the product very well and showcased some useful information in regards to the iRig Mic Cast. So overall, I personally think that IK Multimedia did a excellent job with the packaging and presentation.

- Extras : Now aside from receiving product from IK Multimedia, after looking around the package we noticed that there wasn’t really any extras such as business cards, fliers etc. included. Which is perfectly fine, maybe in the future they will look into it.

- Design : IK Multimedia also introduced us to their iRig Mic Cast. The design was very straight forward and simple to use. I really love how IK Multimedia also included a little stand for your phone. In all, IK Multimedia did a great job with the design of this product! Some of the cool features of the iRig Mic Cast is that it features a stereo mini-jack headphone output enabling real-time monitoring of what is being recorded using headphones or speakers. Offers a mini-switch that provides two different sensitivity settings to record close-up or distant sources. Includes an adjustable desktop stand for convenient iPhone/iPod touch positioning during recording. Has a bumper-friendly mini-jack connector that fits the majority of iPhone/iPod touch cases. Has an ultra-compact profile that can be carried anywhere with ease. Like other IK Multimedia microphones, it includes 2 free apps: iRig Recorder, an easy-to-use voice recording/editing app, and VocaLive, a multi-effects processing app for singers. Works with all regular phone calls and any Voice-Over-IP app. The iRig Mic Cast is compatible with iPhone/iPod touch/iPad.

- Quality : The overall quality of everything that IK Multimedia has presented us with has always been great. The sound quality when recording using the iRig Mic Cast is pretty superb. The sound is really crisp and clear as well. The product is extremely easy to us and install on your device. The software for it as well is easy to use too. The staff over at IK Multimedia has always been the greatest in keeping us updated with all the latest products from their company. Definitely can’t wait to see what else IK Multimedia will introduce us to in the future!
