If you’ve been following our social networks, you would have known we’ve recently visited the Antec HQ. Antec Mobile Products “a.m.p.” was very generous enough to introduce us to their latest portable Bluetooth speaker! They gave us one to get a closer look at and review. So without further due, we would personally like to thank Antec Mobile Products for this awesome opportunity! If you are in the market for a new portable speaker, we suggest you check out the new SP1.

Product Review :

- Packaging : We kick things off with the packaging. So the product was not really sent to us this time. We actually had the opportunity to meet up with the team over at Antec Mobile Products as they introduced us to some of their latest products. The product packaging to the Antec Mobile Products SP1 is pretty solid. It comes in a hard plastic case, which keeps the SP1 really secured and safe from harm if it was shipped. The packaging is really unique also because it also hides a little compartment where the manual and accessories are located. It displays the SP1 very clean and simple. So everything looks really legit and professional if you ask us. Overall, I personally think that Antec Mobile Products did an outstanding job with the product packaging.

- Extras : Now aside from the actual product, we didn’t really receive any extras such as stickers and etc. Which is perfectly fine, maybe in the future they will include something like this. But it’s understandable, that they are a high volume company and this was not shipped to us. So moving forward, along with the actual product we did receive a 3.5 mm connector as well as a usb connector to charge the device. Also included was a friendly user manual and warrenty info.

- Design : Antec Mobile Products presented us with their newest product the SP1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker. The design of the SP1 is very clean and unique. I really love how unique it looks, and the colorway. Some cool features about the SP1 is that you can stream all of your digital media from your Bluetooth-enabled device including your phone, tablet, computer, and mp3 player. It has a built-in microphone to pick up or place calls through phone, Skype, GoogleVoice, Viber, and more. You have about 30 feet of wireless connectivity. Last but not least it has up to 10 hours of playback time. In all Antec Mobile Products did a pretty awesome job with the design and concept of the SP1.

- Quality : Next we get into the overall quality of the Antec Mobile Products SP1 Portable Bluetooth Speaker. We personally think that the quality of the product is superb. I really love the looks and feel of the product. It’s pretty durable, and fairly lightweight. It last about 8 hours on full blast, and very easy to pair with any of your Bluetooth devices. As for using it for conference calls, it works perfectly fine as well and the inbound call sounds very clear. Improvements, there is a few such as maybe more bass. But that’s pretty much about it. Other than that the product is awesome, and great to use in a indoor or outdoor environment. The staff over at Antec Mobile Products was very friendly when they first introduced us to their company and products, which is a great thing! So if you are in the market for a portable Bluetooth speaker, then we suggest you look into the new Antec Mobile Products SP1. Can’t wait to see what else Antec Mobile Products has in store for the future! This is definitely a company to look into and keep an eye out for!
