Sony RX1R II
Sony has announced the addition of the RX1R II to their acclaimed Cyber-shot RX compact camera line. In addition to packing a 42.4 Megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor borrowed from the a7R II, a 35mm F2 Carl Zeiss Sonnar T lens, and a retractable OLED viewfinder with an improved autofocus, Sony claims to bring the world’s first optical variable low-pass filter that can be turned on and off. The Sony RX1R II also boasts a 30% improvement over its predecessor’s autofocus speed with an additional 45% more coverage and an AF-C mode with up to 5 fps continuous shooting.
