So tell us about a little about yourself?

- Hello, My name is Masumi I am full Japanese. I am an Import model from Vancouver Canada. I was born and grew up in beautiful Japan then moved to Vancouver 6 years ago. I am very easy going, independent and cheerful person. I love outside activity, working out, and playing tennis under the sun! I will be hungry every few hours. I love eating! My favorite food is Sushi!! I could have sushi for 3 meals. Now I am talking about sushi and already getting hungry at 2 AM. I love girls talk, shopping and Movie night with my friends. I love travel around, I would love to go Hawaii this year and can’t wait!!

How did you get into modeling & how long have you been modeling for?

- I started to model for fun because of Jason W photographer who found me on Facebook and offered me to have a TFP back in 2011. At the same time my one of best girl friend who already had modeling experience told me I should give it a try! I didn’t have any confidence for modeling so it took a while to have my first photoshoot. After I tried my first photoshoot, I realized that it was very fun and made me feel happy to have a beautiful shots by a professional photographer. I was very happy and thought I should share it with my friends so I made an album on my personal Facebook page. Since then many people started to like modeling work and I was actually getting more opportunities for modeling jobs. Finally I got a contract with a modeling agency and started to model officially since 2012.

What do you enjoy most about modeling?

- Its just really exciting! To work with talented photographers and make up artists, models. It’s always great inspiration to motivate me. and I very enjoy unexpected modeling jobs!

What was your most embarrassing moment while modeling?

- When I was modeling at the IMPORTFEST Vancouver 2013 at SONY booth. I was modeling with a hot motor cycle and all the sudden around 30 people started to take pictures of me and motor cycle! I am actually very shy so I got so embarrassed when It became like a big group shoot hahha.

What’s the worse or most unprofessional thing that a photographer has done during a photo shoot?

- This is disgusting but some of the bikinis this photographer provided for a swim suits shoot were already used by other models before and they were sooooooo dirty! I never want to work with him again.

What have been your highlights in your modeling career?

- I got two highlights in my modeling career! First one is I have been to D1 Grand Prix in Osaka Japan 2013 as main D1 Girl with Dannie Riel. The second one is I became Top 3 of Miss Hot Import Nights Fontana CA 2013 model search.

What part of your body attracts the most attention?

- My cheeky cheeks which I got them from my pretty grandmother.

What is one feature you wish you had more of?

- I wish I was 5’5 !

What’s the quickest way to your heart?

- Smile!

Do you have a quote that you live by?

- Appreciate the small stuff. You are blessed more than you realize.

What’s the worst memorable thing a guy has done to get your attention?

- Spitting on the floor / ground / everywhere. UGH!

If you could be on the cover of any magazine which magazine would it to be and why?

- I would say FHM, IMPORT TUNER, DSPORT, SUPER STREET magazines! They are very worldwide that’s why!

Give us 3 words that you think best describes you and why?

- Funny because my friends tell me so! Nice because I am nice to people usually! Sushi because I can be your best sushi craving mate!

If you could be any superhero who would it be and why?

- I want to be Doraemon a Japanese cartoon character! because he has this magic pocket which he can pull out tons of cool items as Dokodemo Door ( The door it can take you to anywhere you wish for) etc… Maybe he is not a superhero though. lol

In fire what would you save makeup/shoes/purses (only choose one & why)?

- My purses! I can but makeup and shoes after!!!

What is something your parents don’t know about you?

- My parents are in Japan they know I am modeling but doesn’t know my modeling career is getting this big. I want to surprise them one day!

Can you fight, or are you the one who all the girls beat up and grab by the hair.

- No fight please I will bite you!

How did you hear about FKN Famous an what do you think of it?

- I actually just got a notice about this on my Instagram from FKN Famous! Thank you very much for the opportunity. I love FKN Famous now because FKN Famous staff is actually very nice and responsible too. I am looking forward to check the webpage and read new updates! It’s really thankful that you guys can give us such an opportunity to gain some exposure.

Aside from modeling, what is your number one goal?

- Travel world and adventure before settle down!

- I never expected to hit 10K + on my Facebook fan page within a year and half. I am very surprising how it goes so fast and getting more exciting opportunities for modeling. Your support means so much to me and I do really appreciate the warm words from all of you. I don’t know where I am going in life and I still don’t know how to get there. - Social media is crucial. Websites and SEO are big. You’d be surprised how well word of mouth around your city works as well. If your city aint reppin you, who is?

Are there any future plans for your line?

- Keep growing as a brand.. We’ll be releasing our limited Womens line this summer. I also want to get into some other garments besides just t-shirts and hoodies. Also accessories. We’re really upping our accessory line-up this year.
