Gearing up for the 2016 Fall/Winter is none other than visvim. No surprise, the aesthetic is one borne of vintage craftsmanship and an artisanal attention to detail. Standout pieces include a sakiori jacket made with pieces of cotton borrowed from other pieces, a nod to the Japanese Edo period when wool was an unknown commodity and only cotton and silk were available.
Los Angeles based brand Stampd just released their new 2016 Fall/Winter Collection entitled “New Soldier”. Standout pieces include the WWI officer-inspired Long Cashmere Trench, a quad pocket bomber with removable wool lining, a grey, alpaca blend, hand-woven and distressed turtleneck, and a reverse, washed down, terry camel travel pant that features a rubbed waistband and a zipped back pocket.
